For Authors
Submit ManuscriptArticle manuscripts
Articles are selected by peer review. Please remove all self-identifying information from the manuscript you upload to Scholastica including title pages, and document properties. References to your own works should be deleted. All manuscripts should be submitted electronically through Scholastica. Please upload a .doc or .docx file. No hard copy submissions will be accepted under any circumstances.
Submission of a manuscript implies your assurance that the content has not previously been published in form or in substance, and that the manuscript itself is not under consideration elsewhere.
Length, format, and style: Articles should be no more than 7,500-8,500 words (not including notes). If you are determined to exceed those limits significantly, please consult the editor first; excessively long articles may be returned to the author without review.
Formatting: Please use a standard font (e.g. Arial, Times New Roman)
in a standard size (10 or 12 point). Use minimal formatting. Double space everything, including block quotations, notes, and figure captions, and leave adequate margins. Do not embed illustrations or tables in the text; send them as separate files instead. Put captions after the bibliography.
llustrations: For review, please upload all images to Scholastica. For review purposes, low resolution images are fine. However, if your manuscript is accepted for publication you will need to provide us with images of at least 300dpi. Do not embed images in your manuscript file.
